Terms & Conditions

  1. All entries must be submitted in English language via the online entry forms on the website.
  2. Each entry must relate to specific Category identified in the relevant entry and must be submitted online in accordance with these terms and conditions.
  3. The entrant must provide a document mentioning the points below:
    • Introduction of the individual / company
    • Credentials / suitability in the applied category
    • Case studies demonstrating success and/or innovation in the applied category
    • Brief future plans
  4. The supported file format will be Adobe Reader (*.pdf)
  5. Maximum file size that can be uploaded is 2 MB.
  6. The application fees per form is Rs.1500 + Service Tax (or a total of Rs. 1725) for applications from India and 30 USD for applications outside India. The application fee shall be paid only via RTGS/NEFT details, before the closing date, as provided in our website. Applications received without the corresponding fees may be rejected.
  7. Each entry must be completed in full and received on or before the closing date together with the Fee. Entries received after the closing date may be disqualified in which case they will not be considered for nominations and the fee collected will be refunded.
  8. In the event that an entry is inaccurate or incomplete, or not accompanied by the entry fee and does not comply with these conditions for entry or is deemed ineligible for any other reason, then the relevant entry will be disqualified
  9. By submitting an entry you confirm that you accept these terms and conditions and you have the agreement of all parties associated with the project that the submission be made.
  10. SECONA, or Secutech will not be responsible or liable, financially or otherwise, in respect of any event related in any way to an entry or the judging procedure.
  11. SECONA and Secutech accept no responsibility, financial or otherwise (direct or indirect), for:
    • Any promise or indication made public before an Award is formally announced
    • Any damage whatsoever caused by any actions taken in relation to any particular entry relevant to the Shield Awards.
  12. Jury’s decisions relating to short-listing and granting of awards in the course of judging the Shield Awards is final and Jury will not enter into any correspondence or discussion with any Entrants on any subject nor will accept any submissions or representations or appeals with regard to such decisions.
  13. Sponsors are not entitled for nominations in the category they are sponsoring.
  14. Jury reserves at its sole discretion the right to:
    • Disqualify entries which do not comply with these conditions or for any other reason
    • Not to give away any particular award in any given category
    • Move an entry to another category without notice, if Jury feels it would be better suited in the relevant category
    • Disqualify any entry that is a collaboration of two or more companies that does not have the agreement of all parties for the entry
